Stella Coatings provides services in Venetian Plastering, solid rendering, acrylic texture coating, polystyrene installation, and fully warranted coatings.

Venetian Plastering and Abstract Italian Stucco

The term covers a whole range of decorative plaster finishes, from highly polished venetian plaster (Marmorino) to the rugged look of textured polished plasters. Polished plaster itself tends to consist of slaked lime, marble dust and/or marble chips, which give each plaster its distinctive look. A lime based polished plaster may contain over 40% marble powder. Polished plaster is mainly used internally but can also be used externally. Finishes can range from polished concrete, polished marble, polished stone, Travertine, split stone, and even crocodile, snake and viper skin.

Solid Rendering

Solid rendering is used over brick, block, hebel and polystyrene surfaces. Using either site mixed sand and cement or pre mixed bag products to suit different needs. Our solid rendering ranges on base coats of 5-20mm depending on the substrate.

Acrylic Texture Coating

Acrylic texture coating is a pre mixed flexible coating that is applied over the top of cement or acrylic render finishes. These range from tinted finishes to painted finishes. The different textures range from fine sand, coarse sand, flat sand, scratch coats and roll on finishes.

Polystyrene Installation

We use certified EPS Polystyrene panelling, fitted to new or existing houses. Thicknesses are 50mm, 75mm and 100mm. All of our systems are fitted to manufacturers specification and come with 10-15 year warranties.
